This wine is raised in Catherine’s block, the oldest section of Dineen Vineyard at the top of Cheyne Road. We have worked with this vineyard’s fruit for many years and have come to appreciate the varietal; sometimes savory and herbal finish, but full flavored and complex with concentrated, dark-berry fruit. This terroir produces rich tannins and length of finish, which leads us back to this vineyard year after year.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style barriques of seasoned French oak from Alain Fouquet, Artisan Barrel, and Ton. Vernou. All barriques were supplemented with French oak infusion by Canton Cooperage.
