All of our wines are crafted to be aged for many years, the number of which we will only know with time. Please stock up so you can regularly sample the wines and not miss any intermediate combinations of subtle aromas that may be short lived or transitions to more complex flavor components. We like to say that we appreciate all phases of wine flavor profiles, but that we only release the wine when the symphony is ready to play!

2008 Admiral's Reserve Red:

Homecoming Reserve is the partner label to our previously released Admiral’s Reserve Red. It was crafted by :Nota Bene as a Merlot heavy Bordeaux style blend in the fashion of old world wines. Its right bank charm is dominated by Arianses Vineyard Merlot grown with care by vineyard owner Bruce Zunser. This is not to make light of the Cabernet contribution by Tedd Wildman at Stone Tree Vineyard or Cab Franc from Chandler Reach. Five grapes from five different vineyards have come together to show a fine red wine from Washington State.
From the sale of each bottle of Homecoming Reserve, :Nota Bene Cellars will donate one dollar to the Wounded Warrior Project and one dollar to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society…organizations that are caring for active-duty service men and women, their families, and veterans.
