All of our wines are crafted to be aged for many years, the number of which we will only know with time. Please stock up so you can regularly sample the wines and not miss any intermediate combinations of subtle aromas that may be short lived or transitions to more complex flavor components. We like to say that we appreciate all phases of wine flavor profiles, but that we only release the wine when the symphony is ready to play!

Kestrel View Estates Vineyard is the home vineyard of Kestrel Winery, who fortunately for us don’t vinify all of their own grapes. :Nota Bene has put together a wonderful blend from one of the oldest vineyards in the state, on Hinzerling Road in Prosser. Located in the Yakima AVA, it’s one of the cooler locations in the state. This cool climate gives rise to intense cherries in the nose along with delicate floral character as you enjoy this wine over time.
52% Cabernet Sauvignon
24% Merlot
12% Cabernet Franc
12% Malbec
Bottled on 6/24/06. This wine was aged for 21 months in 63% new oak barrels (38% new French oak by Seguin Moreaux, Alain Fouquet, and 25% new American oak by Radoux). 204 cases were produced.
